Assessment Test for Adolescent

Do you find yourself constantly worrying about your son, wondering whether he needs help or what kind of help he needs? At White River Academy, we recognize the difficulties parents face when their son struggles with behavioral, mental or substance abuse issues. We have provided a simple assessment to make it easier for parents to determine the extent to which their son needs help.

White River Academy, WRA, offers the chance for your son to get the help he needs to overcome his academic, behavioral or substance abuse issues and become the man he is meant to be. WRA is an intimate, supportive and nurturing environment for boys between the age of 12 and 17 who are struggling.

White River Academy offers a safe, secure and structured environment which incorporates experiential, as well as developmental treatment models. This environment disrupts and resolves negative patterns of behavior. This environment includes a strong academic curriculum, which stresses the importance of servant-leadership based community projects to cultivate leadership, confidence and altruism.

Assessment Questionnaire:

Parents or guardians need to simply check the box next to the question that correlates to their son’s behavior. Upon pressing the submit button, White River Academy will calculate a recommendation for the child based upon the response. This assessment is not a substitute for a formal diagnosis by a professional. Instead, it is meant to be used as a guiding tool for parents struggling with how to help their son.

More severe problems require the help of a professional and possibly even a residential treatment center, such as White River Academy. Less severe cases can often be helped through providing a healthier structure at home and possibly incorporating therapy sessions; although a program like White River Academy may still be beneficial.
