Talyah has been working in the academic realm within treatment for the last 6 years. Last year, she became the Social Studies teacher for White River Academy, covering topics such as history, geography, psychology, and a sprinkle of health. Talyah received her Bachelor of Science in psychology from Brigham Young University.
As she continues to teach at White River, she is completeing her Masters of Education from Weber State University. She is highly skilled in working with youth ages 12-18 and finds great joy in doing so. Her background in psychology provides the perfect combination of teaching and mental health expertise for the population at White River Academy.
Talyah enjoys spending time with her dogs, trying her hand at home projects (ones that do not involve measuring as she is still learning how to do that), coaching women’s volleyball at Delta High, and traveling the world with her family. She values community and especially loves connecting with the youth at White River Academy.
