Heather Stevens is a dedicated professional and the Academic Director at White River Academy. Drawing on her valuable entrepreneurial experience, she brings a practical, career-focused approach to her leadership, overseeing academic operations, instructional quality, and staff development.
Heather was instrumental in implementing the Weekly Vocational Trades and Skills Day, successfully restructuring the academic week to dedicate a full day to hands-on technical trades and practical life-skills training, including collaborations with external partners on “Education to Employment” initiatives.
Heather holds a Master’s in curriculum development and a Bachelor’s of Education, complemented by years of experience in Special Education and instruction across art, business, marketing, and coding. She is also a certified full stack web developer.
Her passion is helping students discover their unique paths through higher education, vocational trades, or alternative routes, ensuring every individual finds their way to success.
