Reg has been professionally teaching Mathematics to grades 6 through college since 2010. He holds an Associate degree, two Bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics and Math Education, and a Master’s of Teaching Mathematics. Along with his degrees in Mathematics, he also has a Spanish minor and coursework in music for teaching choir.
Prior to teaching at White River Academy, I taught on the Navajo Indian Reservation for four years. In this setting, I worked with a wide variety of students from many diverse backgrounds. That experience gave me insight into working with students outside of the regular public-school setting and prepared me to help serve a population of students from all around the world.
During the past 11 years, I have worked with students from every continent and helped them pursue goals in their own education. My goal is to provide the mathematical tools for each of my students so that they become lifelong learners who use those tools to enhance their lives and the lives of others.
